ROSARY GARDEN DEDICATION

ROSARY GARDEN DEDICATION

Please attend the dedication of the Rosary Garden at OLSH immediately after the 7:00 pm Mass on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother, a Holy Day of Obligation. The Marian statue, the focal point of the garden, has been beautifully renovated thanks to the generous donations of parishioners. The statute has great meaning to OLSH parishioners, as it was moved to the parish grounds from the former location of the church in the Reading valley.

Below is a note from Boy Scout & Eagle Scout candidate Matthew Smeal who designed and completed the work on the garden.
Thank You
After months of planning and hard work, the Rosary
Garden at Our Lady of Sacred Heart is finally
finished. The dedication of the site will take place on
Assumption Day August 15th. This garden will stand
as a place of peace and reflection. As I prepare to
finish the rest of my Eagle rank, I remember all of
the help I was so generously given. I would like to
give a special thanks to Mayor Richard Finan for
helping to secure an Evendale dump truck, Bob
Moggenberg for his assistance around the OLSH
grounds, Bob and Sue Kettler for the donation of the
benches, Marge Carey for her hard work in helping
with the fundraising, Rick Herzog for helping me
construct the new wall and, of course, all the
parishioners whose generosity and support made this
possible. I could not have done it without you.
Thank you all for your help,
Matthew Smeal
