Gospel Reflections by Deacon Tom…..
Palm Sunday of The Passion of The Lord
“The centurion and the men with him who were keeping watch over Jesus feared greatly when they saw the earthquake and all that was happening, and they said, ‘Truly, this was the Son of God!’ “ Mt. 27:54
This past month has truly been a difficult Lent that has brought us all to sheltering in our homes and praying that this terrible disease will pass over. When it came to those we love, we did whatever it takes to provide for their needs. We rearranged our schedules, made personal sacrifices and spared no expense. We swallowed our pride, humbled ourselves and risked being seen as fools for the sake of loved ones. Dee and I were inspired to see other couples and families supporting each other in this crisis and turning to God for help. When you come to know Jesus, others come to know you as a witness to the saving power of His love and grace.
