April 14, Palm Sunday beginning at 7:30 PM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Taizé Prayer is a beautiful, contemplative candlelight worship experience which blends music, meditation, scripture reading and periods of silence. The music will be provided by our music ministry and you will have the opportunity to sing and pray. Taizé prayer is the creation of a monastic community in Taizé France who call it “a time to rest in God, to let the works listened to and sung penetrate one’s being.” It is a wonderful opportunity to pause, pray and focus on our Lenten Journey.

Almsgiving

This year’s Lenten Project is a Regional project. Each weekend during Lent, you are asked to contribute items requested by area charities. Project. At OLSH, the items can be brought to the Marian Room kitchen. At SSPP, boxes will be under the steps in the back of church.
